Jen and I have known each other for over 20 years and when she decided to attend equine dental school I knew I could fully trust her with my Sanctuary’s equine dental needs.
We have horses ranging from the ages 1yrs old up to 30 yrs old. Each horse is different and some require special needs. Jen recently examined an Appy that had only had a few months of handling at our farm. She took her time to introduce tools slowly to the horse, she was able to gain the trust of this horse. Jen also floated a 27 yr old that hadn’t been done for years. She handled the old girl kindly yet remained in control of the situation the whole time. She is very aware of the horses behavior and body language the whole time and gives breaks when needed.
I feel Jen is very well educated in not only the dental area but other areas in horses and other animals. I know that I can go to her for information and trust it is correct. I also know that Jen goes above and beyond to care for her own personal animals and that says a lot about a person.
I would strongly recommend Jen to anyone needing dental services for their equine.

We recently had Jen come out to float our horses teeth. We had talked prior to her appointment. She was flexible with our schedule. We have 3 horses/pony ranging in age from 5yr-10yr. She was exceptionally patient with them!! Taking her time when we knew one was getting tense. It wasn’t about how fast can I do this. It was about making the horse feel at ease and comfortable.
Our POA, that we bought last fall, probably had not had her teeth done in several years. She was really great with her! Then there was one of our other mares, well she was a little spunky. Jen handled her with comfort and ease. It was a great experience for all..horses and humans.
I would have no reservations recommending Jen and her Equine services. I have already told several friends about her.

I always recommend Jen to anyone looking for an equine dentist. She is everything you could ask for and MORE! I recently had a goat that was having weight issues, so Jen, with her ‘can do’ attitude, said “Let’s go for it!” 🙂 She invested time studying the mouth of the goat and comparing it to the horse’s mouth, threw her mini horse set of tools into her vehicle and out she came!
She is prompt and respectful!! She is very careful with her patients and is thoughtful of their humans, realizing this can be a little stressful for both parties! 🙂
You will not be disappointed with Jen. She is always educating herself further in ways that she could serve horses and their humans. HIGHLY recommend Jen to anyone needing a horse or a goat floated!
***GOAT friends…don’t forget your goaties!! They can have teeth troubles too!!!***

I’ve owned horses decades and she was by far the best dentist I’ve had out.. we will remain clients yearly here on out for all our dental needs.

Jen has a great rapport with both her horse and human clients alike. She is even wonderful speaking to small groups that would want to teach people more about equine dentistry. Please keep her in mind if you are looking for an equine dentist!

All these years when I got horses teeth done it was by my vet. Always my vet. I then finally gave this lady, Jen, a try that I saw shared everywhere.
LET ME TELL YOU! I never seen a horses attitude change after a float and melt into someone’s hands like I saw her have happen with my guys. I learned amazing tips on how to tell age that finally made sense to me! Buster here, who is 30+ in age, has cushings, insulin issues along with was originally emaciated once coming here, always ate so slow, never really whinnied and didn’t really like eating grain. AFTER Jen fixed a few sharp spots, he now eats like a horse (literally!!), is all around a happier fella. Whinnies when he sees ya! He will eat a little grain!(prefers hay still!) And is gaining weight nice despite his other issues!!!
I forward her info to my friends cause her price is worth paying!!!
