The following are local rescues near Felton PA. As always remember to do your homework and make sure your money, time and heart go to the right place.
Many rescues and sanctuaries rely on help from the public. What they do is expensive in every way you can imagine. Emotionally, physically and monetarily. I know a lot of people’s pockets are empty or at the very least tight (as I know mine are), but even just sharing posts, liking pages and telling people about the great places that help our equine friends can be priceless.
Noble Hill Horse Rescue is a place of healing for horses and people. We mostly take in horses from Lancaster County when they can no longer do their jobs, when their owners can no longer take care of them, or if they are bound for slaughter.
